100M IM TIME TRIAL - ABBEY STADIUM - THURSDAY 24TH JULY
Please note that the Junior Competition/ Junior Performance training session at Abbey Stadium this Thursday (24th July - 7.00-8.00 pm) will be replaced with a time trial.
The time trial will probably include only one event - the 100m IM. If time permits, however, we might also be able to run a few heats of 50m sprints.
All swimmers (from all squads) are welcome to take part, but those seeking a 100 IM time for their County Development Meet or Northgate PB Buster Open entries should definitely attend.
There is no need to register in advance for this time trial.
Entry forms for both the County and Northgate meets, with cheques payable to Redditch SC, must be completed and given to Chris or Sonia by 10th August at the latest. Age groups for the County Development Meet are 9, 10, 11, 12 or 13 years (at 21st September).
There will be a 1 hour training session for Junior Performance swimmers after the time trial, from 8.00-9.00 pm. Training for the Senior squads will be as normal, from 8.00-9.30 pm.
Timekeepers, other officials and stewards/marshals are urgently required to help at the time trial. If you are able to help, please let Sara Mowat know.

Worcester County Development Meet
Please see the attached entry pack for the Worcester County Development Meet at Wolverhampton on Sunday 21st September. This meet will be targeted for all swimmers aged 13 and under in our Development, Junior Competition and Senior
Competition squads, and as many as possible should be encouraged to enter - although several will be too fast for some or all events!
This is a Level 3 Licensed Meet. There are only 'upper limit' qualifying times i.e. a swimmer's current PB must be slower than the published time for each event entered.
Programmes will be available to download a week before the gala. Seating is limited to 230 spectators. No spectators allowed in the swimmers' seating area, Swimmers are not allowed in the spectator area. All helpers on pool side must be ASA Registered, on our list of coaches/helpers previously submitted to the County and will need to wear a coach's pass at all times.
Please can all entries be submitted to Chris or Sonia by Sunday 10th August.
Date for the Diary
There will be a bag-packing session on Saturday 20th September at Sainsburys (Redditch) to raise funds for Redditch Swimming Club. More details on how to get involved nearer the time.
An alternative, or additional, end of season meet that we hope to attend again is the Wales Summer Nationals, from 2-8 August in Swansea. Details of
this important long course competition can be found here.
